Ok... Not everyone makes it to the Cichla Section.. But this is by far a major accomplishment for me. So I am sharing here too :) This way you don't have to read through and look through the pages of my breeding experiences to date with the parents of these beauties!!

Anyway :)

They are just over 30 days old :) and on or just under an inch :D

OMG MONSTERS IN THE MAKING are those the mono fry from the pbass forum? nice i love the raised dorsals!

Sometimes in the future.. I am apart of a state club and the first 5 go there..

Then I have a list that started before they even bred from locals :) But the list is grwoing... So the longer they breed.. the closer they become available... BUT still the spawns are small and the survival rate is larger but still rough... and then moving is going to play a role in it... So likely not really soon.. but sometime.... No date sorry :(

Oh and the specs in the tank are Brine shrimp swimming to their death :D
 
once again, i take my hat off to you J, it takes a lot just to raise 2 inch cichla! and your here raising them from eggs lol :thumbsup:
