So I got ride of my bass to guys on here and I have to say they have been the best to deal with! INYO, BASSMASTERP and KATH are great people. It has given me new faith! If you think that cichla guys are crazy then you are right, they love their fish. I am glad they all went to great homes. It makes me feel much better about my fish! I hope the salt water guys are the same, but we shall see!

Good to see them go to good homes. I agree w/ the cichla passion. Until I found mfk I didnt know what real fish keeping was. Then I saw some of diesel macks tanks on here and r1's and high city's...I mean the list goes on and on. There are so many dedicated fish keepers on this site it's crazy.

It comes with the 'Monster fish' territory in general, you have big fish and are continuosly inspired to provide a comfortable home for the fish to flourish in.
Now, speaking as a 'Cichla' guy... Peas definitely make you want to go all out for them. They have what is IMO the best 'personalities' of freshwater predators. Between that, and how they have a balance of power, presence, beauty, and just general curiosity...quite the fish. Truly brings out the best fishkeeper attitude in the owner. Problem is, everytime you upgrade, the 'upgrade' eventually looks too small...lol. Where does it end ?!?!?
