It's actually a "she" not a he.. and it's defiantly blind in that eye... I own this cichla now.

Oh... an I believe it to be a Cichla monoculus "Enviria Lake" but no proof other than appearance IMO.

She's HOT though - here's a recent photo of her in my care now - & even though she is blind in that one eye it doesn't seem to effect her abilities to navigate or find and eat even small pellets. She's pretty Kick *** I think!
