cichla ID

fairly confident they are ocels but i'd like a second opinion. These are my first pbass so any advice is much appreciated

the first picture makes it lok like oceri but the others look like monocs to me but im not the best at telling cichla lol !.

i still recon the monocs as there red tail mark and black strips looks like my 4"er.

Could be only time will tell. But the slope of there head is more Ocellaris. And I don't see any gold outlining in there tail's.

You can't see gold unless they are slightly larger. Red at that size SCREAMS monoculus. I have never heard of any juvenile (unless out of the ordinary) occelaris have any red on their fins until 6-7".
