Cichla ID?

Was browsing flickr for fish pics, saw this cichla. Looks like an orino with 4 spots? What do you guys think

For some reason it looks like the bass was photoshopped into the picture.

pretty interesting. spots seem a little high on the lateral line to be orino. the high markings make me think nigromaculata, but then again theyre almost circle markings which nigromaculata doesnt have. who knows!

yeah lol! looks like it's 'floating' over the grass

Ya, the grass is way too out of focus for the bass to be laying on it...lol

Unless its back fin is see-through then this photo is doctored. You can see the plant behind its tail fin.

LOL I think its just bad post processing of trying to blur the background. If you look at his photostream its all fishing pictures. He caught some nice bass that day and even a blood parrot haha

if you save the picture and zoom in all the way, you can see some weird areas, especially around the head and mouth...

Ya I saw that too, definitely bad PP. He went over the mouth area with the blur tool and missed the spot above the head. O well, the fish look nice at least haha. The dude's from singapore and he mentions about fishing for pbass in some reservoir there
