Other than the Temensis...I am still no good at IDing Cichla. Anyway...I just picked this little guy up over the weekend and was wondering what he actually is. He looked more attractive to me than what I normally see for sale at our lfs here. Any thoughts?

You'll need to put a little size on it, then it will be easier to tell.

I am going with occel. Monos usually just have black dots instead of stripes when young.

Looks more mono to me, but not positive. Good looking fish for that size.
