bored here at work so i thought id post some pics of cichla ive owned over the last 2 years. hope you enjoy

A little back ground story of these two orinos. I got them from a buddy of mine. He was sold them from someone who said 1 of which was an f1 from deiselmacks orinos. ( not sure if its credable just what we were told ) they were then traded to Impala and sold to John ( Snookn ) and im not sure as to where there current location is

Very impressive.

they are not all current.. i traded away the first pair. and the rest all died in a tank crash that made me quit the hobby for 2 years. and ive just started back into cichla as i had a 7" Rio Meta orino arrive yesterday and is doing well in a 240 with Four 6" Super Red Severums, A Pair of 8" Rotkeil Severums, a Pair of Para Fenetratus ( 5" and 10" )
and a 6" RTC... yea i know about the RTC but its always been a weakness they are so awesome.

and the fens have just spawned for the first time a couple days ago. and if things go right i will be making a couple switching soon for some other cichla.

Orinos look great, as they always do. thx for posting. So what really happened, I know the temensis got so big he ate the rest, right? lol

LOL nah. if only that happened i would have been able to catch him after he ate only a few.. im not 100% sure. i chalked it up to tank crash. everything was fine when i went to sleep. then when i woke up aroun 9am the next morning EVERYTHING in the tank was dead.. and had a white fungus over most of the fish. nothing was wrong with the water and was running two fx5s for filtration. i really have no idea what happened
