I'm sick of my current lighting on my 300g and 180g. Show me your best lighting for Cichla and tell me what it is. I currently have mono's and Ocell's.
Lighting that's in the 6500k range. Best spectrum to accent the greens, yellows, and reds of cichla. Anything higher and the light is too blue, which doesn't look good on these fish.
I also like the 10k/actinac combo. I have 2 dual 36" T5HO on my 300 and I like how it tooks better than the 5000k I had on there before. Haven't had in between, like 6500k as Jose said, though.
