Thanks wolfman, I do have two other Xingu's one at 10" and another at 6" hoping to get a pair out of them and see if any breeding kicks off..

Nice colour whats the size , I do have another two smaller ones and all three have different colourtion to each other i know there is 3 different sp types for Xingu's so I may have all three but only time will tell with the other two as there under 12" in size

He is 9-10 inches. I have 2 kelberi also. The 2 species act totally different. Both beautiful types of bass

3 x Xingu 18" 10" 6"
1 x 24k kelberi 10"
1 x kelberi x orino hybrid 10"
1 x baby kelberi 2.5"
2 x baby mono's 3"
1 x pure orino baby 2.5"

what would the bass kings say as to what sex this Xingu is from the pic I posted or would you need more pic???

The only way to really tell the sex is to vent it. Males will have a flap o> and females will have a larger hole o0.
