Ya sorry I copy and pasted and failed to delete the 'Popoca'. Yes I'm looking for a vendor. I saw a picture of a mono 'Lake Diamante' and was impressed. I have found some 4-5" Cichla monoculus 'Peru' and I'm waiting on a price. This will be my first Cichla. Do you have any suggestions on a particular kind of Cichla? I'm looking for a 'trophy' or 'display' fish for lack of better words. This is a good way to ask, if you were looking to buy a bad !@# Cichla which one would you buy?
Are the 4-5 inch Peru Monos from Massive Aggression? If so, good luck ordering. I tried to order these, but haven't gotten a response for days. Needless to say, I won't ever be giving this guy business.
IMO, one of the coolest Cichla is Kelberi. Azuls are nice. So are Orinos and Monos. Hell, they are all sweet! I think a few vendors on here are carrying Orinos. I think Sharkaquarium has Azuls. Just do research. See what would work best in your sized tank and what you like the look of best.
