Hey guys im thinking about getting some of this fish but i would want some info first , i know some are said in other posts but w/e il go for it anyway .
How big they get? How fast they grow? Are they aggressive ? what do u feed them ? can they be kept with Arow / dat ? i was just checking some guy today he had some adverstise with Dats on it but they sold already so :/ i saw he had some of Cichla ocellaris for like 7$ each about 2.5" size.
any other information u got about this guys is welcomed!

Ocells grow to about 24", with the right conditions and good water change schedule you can get a growth of around an inch per month, I've also kept them with a silver aro and many members here have kept them with dats. Just make sure both fish are a good size and they can't eat eachother. You may want to get the dat a bit bigger then the bass cause they grow alot slower. How many ocells were you thinking about getting and what size tank did you have?

^^^ what he said and vvv those for tankmates. i feed my big one market shrimp right now. the little one will eat anything i throw in the tank.

Well i dont know if i will get any yet ^^ , its a 175g tank 67"long and about 26" wide .
i could just grow them out tho becasue my tank feels really empty atm with the tiny silver i got in it lol.
im planning on getting a bigger tank eventually tho but that will probally take awhile since ive got limited space atm.

thats cool.. how bigs your silver at the moment?
you obviously know that you have about a couple of years before you have to upgrade rigght..
how rare are ocells in sweden? id get them if i were you and grow them out with your silver..

Ehm ive got no idea how rare they are tbh the silver is like 5" maybe not sure but yea id guess around that . anyway do they fight and stuff if u put 2 together ? was thinking if i got 2 of them or something and see how it goes looks like a pretty intresseting fish!

Peacock bass are VERY interesting.. well get 2 bass and grow them out with your silver, aslong as there the same size i dont see it being a problem..
will they be the only 3 fish in the tank?
