Ok so im just wondering at what size did you Orinos start being aggressive towards tankmates and possibly yourself? As for me my orinos are abit aggressive to my new gars and are very aggressive towards me when giving a water change...they start attacking my hand and syphoning tube...:nilly: crazy lil guys but are cool...they don't hurt since they are only 3" wonder how a 28" orino adult feels like!?

it only gets worse from here lol but i would say when they are 7-8 inches they really become beast

lol oh boy this is going to be some rough few months till then...:nilly: hahaha including my longnose gars were being pushed around by my orinos earlier today when i got them...now they stopped messing with both the gars :D

yea thats one of the reasons why i bought them...to test how truly aggressive they are when bigger with my own eyes =]

so when should their blue start to really come out? mines are coming out pretty nicely but its not that visable with the camera...=[ plus its not that fully developed.

So is there a problem keeping them with other cichla?

not necessarily...ive asked Dieselmack about this same question and he said just watch out for your other cichlas when you got a pair of orinos that pre-spawning...they might kill your other fishes in the tank if its with any at all. DM's orino pair killed off all his other cichlids and cichlas except his azuls and his catfishes

I don't ;)

Looks like boosten covered it.
