I will do my best to answer what river they were from. Pic #1 Kelberi is from Ceara batch. Pic #2 is from Bahia captive breeds. The parents are listed in the cichla forum. And I have no idea where the azul came from other than rivers of Long Beach.Cookie*420;4306532; said:Those are some cool fish. I love the exaggerated looking jawlines. What region are they from?
Ya the kelberi not shown is a pimp. Check out his bling scales. Warning: you might need shades to view this picture.gangster;4305556; said:That kelberi not really shown hiding in the background is GOLD!
Thanks Bruce. Do you still have your cichlas?Bogwoodbruce;4306596; said:Beautiful cichla collection.
Thanks man. Post some pics of your monster tank. The azul and my bigger kelberi is punking this bahia. The old man 17" kelberi just watch and do nothing about it.kendragon;4307561; said:Very nice cichlas. I take it that the bahia is getting along with the others?
When Keith posted the fish it did not have this much bling. The blings started showing up after having him for a few weeks. I'm grateful Keith hooked me up and gave me dib on the fish.xaznkewlguyx;4307571; said:Dam.. that last kelberi is sweet! You are lucky you beat me to picking it up from Keith... He shoudl have been in my tank!
