Cichla question?

which cichla stays on the smaller size scale? im new to the cichla species. thank you for your time.

Temensis grow the largest and fastest. All the other types are smaller, less than 2' in captivity. The largest non tem cichla I've seen was 21". So all cichla have potential to grow quite large.

You haven't been looking very hard obviously... There are actually more than just tems that can reach 30"+. Either way, ALL species of cichla have the potential to reach atleast 20". Most will be about 24" fully grow.

kelberi then orino.....My orino's grew from 1'' to 10"+ in a year.
