Cichla sizes

What are the max sizes and minimum tank sizes for:
C. Occellaris
C. Monoculus
C. Orinocensis
C. Kelberi
 
yeah i auto assume aswell the size mentioned above, i allways try for minimum of 8x3 unless tank is for growouts
 
Ya I'm stating up a 90 gallon 4x1.5x2
 
That 90g should last 6_8 months if you take good care of them. Then you gotta upgrade.
 
Ok so I'm probably going with monos. What is their growth rate? Like for example year 1 they get this, year 2 they get this, and year 3 etc.
 
Expect 12" by year 1, but they slow down a little after that so expect 16-18" by year 2. But these sizes are just guidelines and can be exceeded one way or another.
 
Omg Jeff rapps has a kel in stock that only gets 12"!
 
That would last at least 2 years in a 90
 
Maybe life with good filtration and no tankmates!
