i have a 120 gallon tank with 5 young adult cichla o's. i bought 2 baby temensis' three months ago about 4 inches in length each, after growing two inches i discovered one of them was missing a left pactoral fin . It also has a wounded gill cover on the missing fin side, which is still red and unhealed after two months. i do not know the cause of the wound but it may be because my tem was bullied by his other big cichla tankmates or it may be infected. besides the red mark on the gill my tem is really healthy looking. My tems are growing very fast, approaching eight inches already, the healthier one slightly longer than the other. Their appettite is really big as juvis, m just wondering if a cichla missing a pectoral fin can live a full and healthy life. what do you guys think?
