My 2 favorite types of fish are Cichla and Dovii. I had a 12" male Dovii but let him go when I decided to get into cichla thinking there was no way it would work but I have seen a few tanks on here which have Dovii and Cichla in together.

Can it work ? There would be 2 x Monos, 2 x Occel's, 1 x Kelberi, 1 x Oscar and a couple of catfish in the tank with the Dovii. The tank will be a 240g

All depends on the temperament of the dovii. Personally I wouldnt put them together. What kind of catfish do you have? Tank seems to be stocked enough as it is.

There's no way I would attempt that especially with that kelberi, but that's just my opinion

I have a male and a female dovii in with my pinima, but they're both under 12 inches still...

Im thinking it is too risky which is why I got rid of him in the 1st place. I was just wondering what the general opinion was

The cats are a vulture and L330

I don't see a problem at all I have never had problems between my Dovii and Cichla ever. But from years of experience I will say you should do just Cichla at least one tank to start with. To be honest with mixing different Cichlids you should alway's have a back up tank ready and waiting.
