Cichla with Stingrays

Can i keep them together, there is three Stingrays.

They're currently housed in a 60 x 20 x 20, soon to be moved to a 96 x 36.

Ive never kept Cichla before and im very excited about getting them, they're being sold to me as 3 spot what species is this? im looking for monos really but thats all i could find.

Do you have a picture of the Cichla? Lots of them have 3 bars or spots. How big are your rays?

The rays are only very small motoro not had them long but theyre doing great all really fat and eating loads.

So ray and bass are compatible? i cant get pic either.

I havent personally kept any rays b/c they are illegal where I live, but I have seen many fellow mfkers keep them together with no problems.

you can keep rays with ur pbass aslong as the pbass cant fit in ur stongrays mouth..

I've never had an issue. I have a group of 11 bass from 6-13" and 2 13" rays. One thing you do need keep an eye on is to make sure yore rays are getting food. But like anything else they all have their own personality so just keep an eye on them at first for any harassment

Go for it! I havent had ANY problems...just be sure to be up on your WCs

I have 3 orinos and 1 k.bahia (all about 11") with three bd/leos at about 9" disk. All eat massivore. Once the bass are full or if they don't grab a piece then the rays eat. All are fed well. Pbass and rays work. Go for it!
