cichla yawing

I would like to know if yawning very often is a normal behavior for cichla or if that could mean something is up.

its normal..if u have more then once cichla watch the rest sometimes ones yawn creates a chain reaction lol

My bass yawns all the time, especially when its hungry or

I just have the 1 orino and he likes to yawn a lot for no reason.

i don't see him do it before or after meals.

He is personable and rules my tank.

haha just means they`re relaxed but mines do it when there hungry showing me they want to eat

its normal but I check your water chem levels to be safe. Sometimes it means water chem is off

they are just stretching there jaw muscles it has nothing to do at all with water chemistry
