Cichlasoma citrinellum

Well you got the genus wrong. Its Amphilophus citrinellum.

They get 16" max for males, apparently, but I think smaller than that is more common. They eat pretty much standard foods for large cichlids; pellets, frozen krill, earthworms, etc.

And they are really mean. You could keep one in a 75 for life, but probably not with any tankmates.
 
Bout 14" and can be very aggressive

Are you sure about its not cichlasoma? Whats the english common name? Does it dig a lot? plants?
 
its amphilophus citrinelus and definatly not cichlasoma. they dig a lot, get about 14", the common name is midas cichlid, if you put plants in with them then yes they will get dug up or just moved a lot
