Yup, same genus (Cichlasoma) and same clad (southern) as port cichlids. But instead of the blue coloration, the dimerus stay a more silvery hue.

These guys are pretty smart - they (and only they) can see the wigglers, and all the incoming fish, and nobody can sneak up from behind...

I can get them out now and I'm sure Ken can take good care of them, but it's their first brood and I kinda want to see what happens

Yeah, both games were awesome!! Was on the edge of my seat more for the huskies though. Luckily I got to watch both (we get to see a lot of bulldog games up here for some reason, but never falcon games). Just enough time to make dinner inbetween the two games. I kept checking the boards here on commerical breaks!!! Respond to one thread, then race back to watch the game more.
