will a female pick up her eggs if u strip her? but give her the opportunity to pick them back up?

long story why i would want to do this but i'm wondering if she will or will not

If she does it is right away. Otherwise, they just eat them. I have bought holding females who spat in the bag or after and they always ate them.

I don't think she will. I doubt it. She will be too stressed from the stripping and has probably lost the mentality to hold. She'll most likely eat the eggs if you introduce the eggs back.

its weird bc she still appears to be holding but she eats like a pellet or so when i feed the rest of them.... i'm curious to what exactly shes holding... if its fish i'll seperate them if they are eggs i currently dont have a tumbler

If she is not stressed, she will likely pick her eggs up. If she is stressed she will definitely eat them. She either may pretend shes holding her eggs, has she ever held before?
