cichlid breeding

hey i am going to set up a 40 gallon breeder and i was wondering what are some good cichlids that breed alot? should i split the tank in half and put 1 pair of cichlid in each half or should i just put 1 pair in the whole 40 gallon???? is there any cichlid that breeds like once a month or more????

Why are you wanting fish that breed that often?

You'd have to have a bunch of females

It sounds like your thinking more in the line of new world cichlids that might pair together, africans don't pair. You'd need a ratio of females to males depending on the species and their agression.

Hi guys, I am new at this forum. Can anyone tell if my Blue Dolphin is pregnant? Her stomach looks a bit bloated, other than that she is very healthy, active and aggressive towards other Blue Dolphins. Thank you.
