i just got a benga sunshine peacock. Its good sized it only got a lil yellow. Do u think if i put it in my koi pond outside for a few weeks that it would color up.

1 fire ob female almost 3"
1 blueberry ob 3 1/2"
2 yellows 4 1/2 n 3"
2 red zebras 5 n 3"
1 albino red toop zebra 4"
Im about to take the zebras out i think thats one prob and i feed my fish walmart fish food :-( all i can aford atm

Pickup some NLS, really it's not that expensive, otherwise Hikari makes a great product, and it's about 3/4 the price of NLS, or cheaper.

im gona order some flake food with color enhancor in it and try it out. I was gona order some crumble food thats super color enhancer but its only .5mm and dont kno if that would feed my big peacocks good

"Color Enhancing" is just a marketing gimmick. I have to Top Fin flakes beside met that say "extra shrimp for maximum color". High quality pellets are your best bet, they contain what the fish actually need to become more vibrant, along with a suitable environment of course.
In your case you have cichlids that need carnivorious and also some herbs. Use a product with Spirulina. This will really help bring out their colors.

lol, dude that's a waste of money... Just get good food. NSL, Hikari... w/e.

You asked for help... This is the help, GET BETTER FOOD, not snake oil.

^ What he said - Coloration in male Peacocks is not just "natural" it's also a dominance thing. Coloration is also indicative of vitamin intake. NLS, Hikarai Excel, Supirulina, and Krill is a good rounded diet for Peacock coloration. However if your peacock is female the brillant coloration will not happen. I've had some Peacocks color up quickly I've also seen them take a year or more.
