i just wanted to no is it possible you can feed maggots to your cichlids, i mean the maggots you go fishing with as i go quite a bit now and ive got some left over.

i mean i don't see no problem feeding them maggots, but why magots....they're maggots for christ sake.....go with worms, krill, or feeder fish.

ya man i don't see why you can't!

but i would choose something better and less gross

i do feed my fish worms ...ect not feeder fish tho, but i have maggots left over so just as a extra food for them. they get worms every day. i wont do that for the maggots tho because they go out.

same here pellets in morning then brine shrimp or worm and afternoon and pellets at night and for my fry i feed 2 crushed flake once at moning and once at night and 3 portions of brine shrimp a day

Maggots? Like from a garbage barrel? Do you mean grubs? Like the ones under rocks? I dont think I've ever seen maggots that were big enough to hook. I've seen a lot of people that fish with grubs, though. If that was the case, then I would say go for it, but maggots in your fishtank!!?? geez!!

I have a pretty good stomache, it takes a lot to gross me out, but maggots. You got that one. As long as thier not from the garbage I'm sure thier cool to feed your fish.
