what do u guys mainly feed your cichlids.I mainly feed my pike feeders and cichlid gold.My reddevils only accept cichlid gold and my buttikoferi only accepts meat based diets.What about u.

Krill, earth worms, Hikari Pellets unless I can find omega one, Flakes, shrimp pelets, peas if they eat them. I just try to mix it up to simulate there natural diet
You should really try to get your butter off of a all meat diet. They are omnivores and are meant to eat vegetable based foods also mines loves whatever brand (can't remember and don't feel like getting up) of sinking spirinula pellets. You're probably gonna have to ween him off the beefheart by not feeding ubtil he will try something else(not a ham sandwich either

yes and as many as it takes. I bought some Red terrors about 2 weeks ago and they would not eat floating pellets they would just forage through the gravel. However when I threw feeders in they went crazy on em. I did that just make sure they would eat but then I took a hard stand and only fed pelets, it took em about 5 days and now they will tentatively eat pellets. Not a lot of ém but they are gonna have to learn to like em cause that is gonna be the main staple of their diet. Besides treats like krill, bloodworms and earthworms.
