Just got bacl from the LFS and bought a few ral nice yellow labs @14.00 each. and found a few more from lake Malawi. What do you think of these guys ?? Pardon the spelling its what was on the tanks. Really nice 5" aul neon violet ungi ??? seems real mellow, 4" mel maingano ??? pseudotropheus aurora ???? and cyno afra chitende frost ??? I'm sure the names are wrong but maybe you can make something out :confused: The pet shop guy "claims" these are the most mellow he sells.........

The Aulonocara and the Labidochromis caeruleus should be nonaggressive. The peacock cichlids are from sand and rock biotypes. Peacock males are colorful while the females are drab brown. The Cynotilapia, Melanochromis and the Pseudotropheus are very territorial cichlids from rock biotypes. You are mixing mbuna species (rock dwellers) with a haplochromine (Peacocks)
