Cichlid filtering

All my Tanks are at least 2X over filtered - however IMO the best quality water I get is from 50% weekly water changes.
more filtration i only use a rena xp2 and its ok but the waters just not that clean about 50 or 60% clean and the color on my fish isnt as bright as id like so im going to see about a larger filter or another filter, oh ya my rena only filters 300 gph not bad sense it holds 1 gallon i think but not good enuf, go with a canister and possible 2 with a 600 gph filtration thats 1200 with 2 filters and thats what im going for.
