Cichlid food

I was curious do Ca and Sa owners feed there fish raw fruit or veggies?? I threw a slice of apple and the went to work, my sevs and fire mouths loved them

I tried squash and cucumber and they ate it during the night. I clipped ot down and put a weight on the end so itd all sink. I tried frozen peas that I thawed and deshelled but only my wild severum ate it -.-

I have done squash and cucumber for the pleco in the same tank and my cichlids liked it, never tried apple

I've fed romaine lettuce to many New Worlds. The uaru I used to have particularly loved it.
