cichlid for the pond???

hi!! i need somer info about cichlids in a outdoor pond..what south amrican cichlids can be placed in a pond???

well one of the things i would think of is the weather you have, i'm not sure if you have a winter there. but that would be something to think of. cause you may want to drop a foot below the freeze line.

I dont know a lot about some species of cichlids, but unless they are pike cichlids they tend to jump out of the water. i would keep this in mind..

the chanchitos are pretty good if you have cooler winters, as are many tilapias
