has anyone had any experience or just know if a Mayan and a Oscar can live together in harmony???

well the i have the Mayan already hes about 5" in a 25gallon tote its pretty wide its just a temp home till i can find a something bigger and the oscar is free some woman said she couldnt take care of it anymore but she said its around the same size( about 5") but like i said it would be a very short time before they will be in a 50 or 60 gallon hopefully bigger tank i know they will be needing atleast what like a 120 or 150??
i thought i should post a pic of the tote so here it is! the measurements of the tote are 33"x20"x13" but the water level is about 10" which i can add another inch or inch and half?
i appreciate it and im not sure if im going to get him yet it was just some fish a woman was giving away on craigslist and i was thinking i could probably give him a good home instead of someone that doesnt know how large they get and they stick them in something really small for the rest of there life!
