Is it okay to feed my arowana cichlid gold pellets? my aro is still pretty small and i just wanted it to get some girth before i move it to hikari sticks. I tried breaking the hikari stiks but they just fall to the bottom of the tank, and since the pellets already float, i was just wondering if it would be okay for me to feed it to my aro.

I just baught pellets called "Cichlid & Arowana" medium sticks , so yea i guess chichlid pellets should be alrite.

My aro was eating cichlid gold before i moved him over to hikari food sticks.. you should be ok..

Yeah its supposed to be colour enchancer to make them more red , the silvers i got wont touch it atm tho but im hoping the asian will like it ^^

yes you can, how big is your aro ive been feeding mine chiclid gold since 3 in plus chiclid gold comes in a lot of diff sizes

Most of Hikari's Food lineup contains the same basic nutrient content, so it should be fine. Im not sure why your Hikari foodsticks sink, as they are supposed to float even if you break them in half.

are u over feeding? your aro looks small yet so just throw in few pellets ..and if u break them into pieces only break it in half..no more then that. even my 3'' silver can eat half pelet of hikari aro stick so idk how small youre breakin them but if they sink...your making them way to small. if youre overfeeding and the pellets r just floating then sink...thats how it is...they dont float forever welcome to MFK, u go on FH?
