I bought five juvenile cichlids from a reputable breeder/dealer. I ha've bouggt fish in past from these guys. With no problems.
As I currently don't have the facilities of a quarantine tank they went in to my 5x2x2.
I inspecited them an monitored them well for 3 days then.I noticed one looked like it was losing scales then I noticed white marks around the mouths of a couple of others then I noticed what looked like white spots larger than ich an less of them. Mainly only around the tail.

I've been in touch with the shop. An showed pics. He seems to think it could be fungal an to dose with salt.

I was hoping for a more definite diagnosis an any help regarding medication

Hopefully the pics have turned out.

Any help is appreciated

Mark
