So I am doing something crazy, im setting up TWO fish tanks right now lol. I have a 37 gallon tank cycling right now (only been a week) and a 90 gallon I am still working out.. (need to wait for filter and all that stuff gets delivered). My questions are:

1. what should I put in my 37 gallon tank? I love colorful cichlids
2. In my 90 gallon I know roughly what fish I want, but need to know if the geophagus species is compatible. Ie: teindachneri, balzanii, pellegrini, pearl cichlid, altifrons, ect. I love almost all the geophagus species .. The fish I 100% want to add to this tank is severums, electric blue acaras, and also blood parrots.

Any help appreciated. thank you.

look on this website:

great selection and if your interested in a fish they have ask for a picture of it before you buy it

Balzanii won’t work long term since they thrive if you let the temp drop to mid-low 60s, brasilensis aka pearl cichlid are pretty aggressive especially in only 4 foot space like a 90

any other fish you think that would be compatible for the 90 gallon?

A group of 4-5 Red Head Tapajos Geophagus would work in a 90. You could also get away with 1 Severum and an EBA in the 90 with the Geo's. Add a schooling tetra species and you got an awesome grouping of fish!

Try a small group of Apistogramma and Cory cats in the 37 gallon. Setup with some rock work for caves and hardy plants (anubias nana, java fern).
