My male Herichthys Carpintis decided to pair up with my female Amphilopus Nourisatti. The offspring have gradually been whittled down by my Pim Ornatus, but I've still got around dozen going strong. They're measuring around 4-5mm now.

My main question is whether hybridisation is a frequent occurance? Anyone else had any experience?

Thanks
Rob

In the wild, hybridization is not a very common occurance. In the home aquaria setting, it is far more common. There is a hybrid section on the forum as well that might be able to help you out.
