amphilophus citrinellum or amphilophus labiatum. common names midas or red devil. more than likely due to the closeness in apperance and the amount of hybridization between the two species its probably a hybrid of the two which has been dubbed a Midevil. very nice fish btw

Is that a tilapia buttikoperi I see in the back ground? If so, does it not insane aggression and mad slaughtering skills to its fellow tank mates?

yes, its a 30cm buttikoferi, he is getting along well with all the tank mates.

I have someone who is offering me one, about 25 cm, for my 3 foot by 6 foot aquarium, with an oscar and pacu. Although the only storys I've Heard about these guys are that they merciless killers that can't be kept with anything else.. Seeing yours, with tank mates, makes me wonder if I should it out. I find them quite beautiful fish

I think it will depends on the tank size, and also the size of the tank mates, mine seems to ignore smaller tank mates in the tank, but when I introduced a fish about his size, he didnt like it very much.
