Cichlid ID help

Not the greatest pictures since the fish doesn't stop enough for me to get a good shot but traded in a few fish the other day for store credit at a LFS, picked this juvenile up, the guy told me he was a Texas cichlid, can anyone tell or think not ? Thanks

Looks like a stressed jack dempsey imo.

I have one who looks almost the same. Could be another fish but I am not 100% sure.
