please help me to id this cichlid. many thanks

thanks i like it too. i used to think it was spirulus but im not so sure now . im leaning towards maybe a hybrid. i have got 2 of them 1 paired with my female firemouth and turned this colour when guarding eggs

The breeding pattern is pretty much spot on for C. spilurus, at least the pic they have up for the species on the CRC.
 
they seem to always e changing colour. 1 of them even changed briefly to this colouration

see why im having such a hard time deciding a positive id? they keep changing colour on me lol
 
yeah I'd say spilurus. was the fish in the last pic breeding at the time that pic was taken?
