Cichlid ID, please

Okay, I have no photo at the moment, I will describe this bad boy the best I can.

8-10 inches Blue, Trident tail, very noticable inner jaw, sucks in feeders like a vacuum.. owner says its a cichlid.

Seriously, that is the best I can do, at the moment. I do think it is a cichlid, thought a JD for a sec, till he came out.
I am going to get a pic, but that may take time.

can anyone help, I know you can ..... its like a challange, a gams. Lil_Stinker gives you almost nothing to work with & you need to figure it out.

Glad I was right, thats what I told him. He rescued it, I just wasn't sure if the tail was just beaten or a natural trident.

The guy he paid 10 bucks to take it from had it in a 10g, talk about rude.

If I get theat 150, he will have a nice home.
