Not a hybrid, that is Mesaheros (xCIchlasoma) ornatum from rivers that flow down the western slopes of the Andes in South America.

It was, but it did a suicidal leap, I grew out 8,

I paid $7 each for them ! The guy said that he got them in from South America and they were wild caught but he didn't know what they were !!! I almost didn't get them ! I liked the colors though and I was bored ! Lol so I took them home
