A friend of mine sent me these pictures from a cichlid he caught in Morelos, Mexico. it was near or in the Balsas River. He currently has it in a small quarantine pond. I'm not exactly sure what it is but I would guess it's a C.istlanum. I would love to hear what the experts have to say. thank you in advance.
