This cichlid is in my girlfriends tank, it came into the shop we work at, no one can figure out what it is, except that it might be some sort of tilapia hybrid. If anyone had any idea what this guy is let me know haha

its a regular talapia. kept one a while back. it was just way too messy for me so i took him to a nice "chinese" lfs. the mouth is weird tho a little more duck like that usual for a talapia
Yeah weve been calling it Ducky haha, I thought it looked like a tilapia but Ive never seen one with such a long skinny body and huge lips
I ts a tilapia what do you need to know? There are some good recipes for cooking them on google. Try the african cichlid section you're in the wrong forum its not a hybrid.
