That's what I thought but the place I got it from insists it's a chocolate that just has better colors than the ones in their store. ANd a different shape, temperament, etc.

Lol definitely not a chocolate, especially 'different shape, temperament, etc.' lol. Obviously every fish is different and different strains has different traits, but for your LFS to insist on a fish with so many different traits to be the same species is very lolsy.
