Cichlid ID?

LFS has this guy. At first looked and just assumed jewel but coloring is odd. They just had someone drop it off so not much info. Thanks

Yup - probably H. fasciatus.

Thanks. I'm just used to seeing more blue and red and not as much of the bright gold/yellow. Ptetty nice looking fish

If there is any black between the 5 spots, it's fasciatus. If not, it's Hemichromis frempongi. Looks Frempongi to me.
