Don't worry kno4te will move it for you. Nice blackbelt by the way there not a fish seen often round my end.
Ok and thank you I’ve grown him out since he was a fry and labeled as a flowerhorn also a cool thing about my black belt is that if I put my finger to the tank he goes up to it and flares his fins like a territorial thing but it looks like he’s dancing and it’s beautiful I’ll post a video soon of it I’ll try to anyway he’s extremely curious about everything his personality is amazing

Still a baby, it can reach over 30cm, as an adult, a 2 meter tank would be minimal (The Cichlid Room Companion suggests at least 3 meters).
They occasionally are found the the ocean grazing on salt water algae, and don't often play well with others as adults.
They are the widest ranging Central American cichlid, found from Lake Ysabal Belize to the Charges River in Panama.
Their aggressive nature and tolerance for sea water may be contributors to the wide distribution
Here in Central America they are considered a great fish for dinner, in the same manner as any pan fish would elsewhere.

Hello Rtc/tsn Rtc/tsn ,
That's a very nice looking Blackbelt. They get even nicer looking as they grow out. I have heard that Blackbelts can be quite the vicious monsters too. It looks like yours has become quite interactive with you. That's awesome!
