Ok thank you, do you know their aggressiveness level?Tilapia species, zilli perhaps.
No but maybe @duanesnmay know.Ok thank you, do you know their aggressiveness level?

Ok thank you i will use this to to try to identify the ones i have, and I’ll think they’ll do fine in the tank. Btw i live in Florida, it’ll be cool if i some like them aroundThey look to be Tilapines, zillii is reasonable, but most Tilapines look very similar at that size and there are probably at least 100 different species of them.
I've never considered them that aggressive (although they can be feisty among themselves) except buttikoferi and marine) all are very active. Most will eat any live plant. Here are a few to compare.
niloticus
zillii
bythobates
the above 3 are in the genus Coptodon
Oreochromis tanganikia directly below
linnellii
some get rather large, some don't, the one below (probably a hybrid is about 2 ft long
Below a shot of one in a Florida canal

The white one is either the strawberry (a hybrid) or a color variant such as Colorado white. They look to be Tilapines, zillii is reasonable, but most Tilapines look very similar at that size and there are probably at least 100 different species of them.

I googled the linnellii yesterday after seeing your post. Didnt have any luck finding info on it. Good looking fish, so is the bythobates. They look to be Tilapines, zillii is reasonable, but most Tilapines look very similar at that size and there are probably at least 100 different species of them.
