what are some fish that grow like to 10-12 in? i no like a oscar does but im not to fond of them for some reason. I no a Jag does but what else?

Oscars, Red Devile/Midas, Managuense, Dovii, Trimac.......These are some of the easy to find cichlids that are available in most stores...........

Cubans, istlanum, dempseys, green terrors, xiloensis,saggitae, there's a few others that'll Max out in the 10-12" range but the others mentioned especially parachromis grow to 16" and up
yeah oscars and jags and dovii get larger than 12in, dempseys stay at 10-12in for males, and midas/red devils are cool fish that tend to max at a foot some severums can get 10in if you want something less aggressive
