Hey All,

It has been a VERY long time since I posted here and a lot has changed around here(especially the interface). Hopefully there are still some familiar faces around. Anyways, I am moving into a house with a couple people and I am beyond excited because I get to get a decent sized fish tank. I want to get a 30 gallon long with a pair of fish and some fast moving danios/barbs. However I cannot decide what to get. I am ordering a pair of fish from Jeff Rapps and I am really just torn on what to get. Basically it is between...

-Amatitlania siquia 'Rio Tempisque'

-Amatitlania siquia 'Rio Animas'
-Neetrolopus Neematopus

I have searched every thread on MFK and just cannot come to a decision. Jeff is probably irked with me because I have changed my mind so many times. I did not want anything too rare and expensive because a) I am a college student and b) I am not sure how long I will be keeping these fish for. I am hoping my MFK family can help me make a decision. Basically I just want fish that are good parents, will not kill each other/have a good pair bond(Yes I realize they are CA cichlids and anything can happen relatively), and that they are interactive(ie not shy and darty fish).

I would love to hear you guys opinions!

Are you speaking from personal experience or do you just think they would be cool to have?

I haven't had them, but always wanted them. I've seen them in person, they are really cool and interesting fish. Lots of personality too.

Thanks for the comments guys! I ordered them today they should be here tomorrow. I am placing them in a 10 gallon QT tank until I can get thier setup complete. It will give me a good time to see how they interact with each other and make sure they adjust well.
