Think if I put my fish in a temp. Tank that plants like jungle val and java fern could establish enough to keep with my Oscar, Lyonsi, and datnoid?

My Oscar Toni shredded any plants I tried with her.

I’ve got one of my 180’s with lyonsi and melanura planted very heavily with pogostemon stellatus octopus and they don’t pay any mind or eat the plants.
I agree with this, although you could be OK with the lyonsi , and and Dat. The Oscar "may " not destroy java fern, but will probably eat or destroy the Val,
For Toni's 1 year birthday I got her a giant Amazonian mother plant, and some Java ferns. Over the next month and half she ripped of leaves till nothing was left.
