so ive got my breeding tank setup with 2 terracotta pots with flat rocks placed in front of each one.the male texas i have in there after 2 days started to clean the sand out of one of the pots while taking breaks here and there to follow the red devil female around a little bit,she has also dug herself a small pit in the sand.no aggression other than some chasing.no signs that they have paired either does this sound like things could be going the right way for them to breed? she somewhat seems to want to see where he is sometimes but then leaves once he takes notice.i have turned the heat up a little bit and added some plants to give more cover and privacy
